About CMS Prep
Built by an aspirant, for aspirants.
While preparing for UPSC CMS, I found that many resources had scattered questions, inconsistent answer keys, limited explanations, or lacked clear references to official sources.
CMS Prep was created to bring these resources together in one place and provide a more structured and focused preparation experience.
The goal is simple: help aspirants spend less time searching for material and more time learning from it.
- •Questions are compiled from authentic UPSC CMS previous-year papers — all six years (2020–2025), both papers, all subjects.
- •Answer keys are reviewed using official UPSC answer keys and corrigenda wherever available.
- •Explanations are kept concise and exam-oriented, focusing on concepts that matter for CMS preparation.
- •Dropped and disputed questions are clearly identified to avoid confusion during practice.
- •Questions can be explored paper-wise or subject-wise, making revision more targeted and efficient.
- •No login, no subscription, no paywall — the full platform is permanently free.
CMS Prep is an ongoing project. The question bank is periodically reviewed to identify formatting issues, incorrect classifications, missing questions, outdated explanations, and other inconsistencies that may affect the learning experience.
Feedback from users plays an important role in this process. Reported issues are reviewed and corrections are incorporated whenever necessary.
While every effort is made to maintain reliability, users are encouraged to refer to official UPSC notifications, answer keys, and standard textbooks whenever required.
CMS Prep is completely free to use. There are no subscriptions, paywalls, or locked features.
The platform was built on the belief that quality preparation resources should be accessible to every medical graduate preparing for UPSC CMS, regardless of their circumstances.
CMS Prep was built by a fellow medical graduate and UPSC CMS aspirant who wanted a better way to practise previous-year questions.
What began as a personal study project gradually evolved into a platform intended to help other aspirants prepare in a more organised and efficient manner.
The project will continue to grow through user feedback, ongoing review, and future improvements.
Thank you for being part of CMS Prep.
