1
Register for Counselling
After the result, log in to aiimsexams.ac.in and register for counselling. Pay the counselling registration fee (check official notification for current amount).
2
Fill Choices Online
Fill institute-specialty combinations in order of preference. You can fill as many choices as available. Strategy: place your dream specialty/institute first, then realistic alternatives.
3
Allotment
AIIMS runs the allotment algorithm based on rank and choice order. Your best possible option is allotted. Check the allotment result on the portal.
4
Report to Institute
Physically report to the allotted institute within the stipulated date with original documents. Failure to report results in cancellation of the allotted seat.
  • INICET November 2026 admit card (original)
  • INICET November 2026 result / allotment letter (printout)
  • MBBS degree certificate / provisional degree certificate
  • MBBS mark sheets (all years)
  • Internship completion certificate
  • NMC/State Medical Council registration certificate
  • Category certificate (OBC-NCL / SC / ST / EWS / PwBD — if applicable)
  • Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, passport)

  • AIIMS joining forms (institute-specific — collect from institute website)

  • · No state quota. All INICET seats are All-India quota. There is no separate state quota process, unlike NEET PG where 50% of seats go to state counselling.
  • · Penalty for not joining. If allotted a seat and you do not report within the deadline, you may be barred from future INICET sessions or face a penalty fee. Read the official instructions carefully.
  • · You can upgrade in Round 2. If you are allotted a seat in Round 1 but a higher-preference option becomes available in Round 2, you can upgrade. Round 1 seat is released if you upgrade.
  • · OBC-NCL certificate must be current. OBC certificates more than 1 year old (or from outside the creamy layer threshold) are not accepted. Get a fresh certificate before counselling.
