Objection WindowTypically a 3-day window from release
Final Answer Key & Result~Sep 15, 2026 expected
  1. Log in to the NBEMS candidate portal during the objection window.
  2. Select the specific question number you wish to challenge.
  3. Submit supporting evidence (textbook reference, page number, edition) for your claimed answer.
  4. Pay the prescribed challenge fee per question (historically around ₹1,000/question — non-refundable if the objection is rejected).
  5. Submit before the window closes — no objections are entertained afterward.
Tip: Only challenge questions where you have a credible, citable source disagreeing with the official key. Weak or unsupported challenges rarely succeed and the fee is non-refundable.
In 2025, a small number of questions were dropped from the final key after the objection process, with full marks awarded to all candidates for those questions. This typically benefits candidates closer to the cutoff line the most, since even a 4-8 mark shift can move percentile meaningfully near the cutoff. There is no guarantee this happens every cycle — it depends entirely on the validity of objections raised.
