UPSC CMS Admit Card 2026
The UPSC CMS 2026 e-admit card (hall ticket) is released approximately 2–3 weeks before the exam date of August 2, 2026. This page walks through exactly how to download it, what to carry to your centre, and what to do if something on it is wrong.
Countdown
UPSC CMS 2026 exam date:
August 2, 2026
Computer Based Test (CBT)
Based on UPSC's historical release pattern, the admit card for an August exam is typically published online in mid-to-late July. UPSC does not post physical admit cards — it is download-only from the official website.
How to Download Your Admit Card
- Go to the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in and navigate to the "Admit Card" section under the Examination tab.
- Find and click the link for "Combined Medical Services Examination, 2026" once it goes live.
- You'll be asked to log in using your Registration ID (received during application) or your Roll Number, along with your Date of Birth.
- Once logged in, the admit card will display on screen. Verify your name, photo, signature, exam centre, and roll number carefully before downloading.
- Download the PDF and print at least 2 copies in clear, good-quality print — UPSC centres are strict about illegible printouts being rejected.
- Keep a digital copy saved on your phone as backup, but note that most centres require the physical printout, not a phone screen.
Documents to Carry to the Exam Centre
| Admit Card | Printed copy (colour or black & white, must be legible) |
| Photo ID | Original valid ID — Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence (must match the name on admit card exactly) |
| Photograph | One recent passport-size photograph, same as uploaded during application (some centres require this even though it's printed on the admit card) |
| Stationery | Carry your own black ballpoint pen; calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, and any electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall |
Important: Reach your centre at least 60–90 minutes before reporting time. UPSC centres typically close entry 10–15 minutes before the exam start time, and late arrivals are not permitted under any circumstances.
Common Admit Card Issues and What to Do
📸 Wrong photo or name spelling
Contact the UPSC facilitation counter immediately by phone, or visit in person at the UPSC office in Delhi if you're nearby. Do not wait until exam day to flag this — corrections, where possible, need lead time to process.
🏫 Wrong or distant exam centre allotted
UPSC allows centre change requests only during the application window, before allotment is finalised. Once the admit card is released, centre changes are rarely entertained except in genuine, documented emergencies — raise a grievance via the official portal as early as possible.
🖨️ Unable to download or page not loading
This usually happens due to heavy server traffic right after release. Try downloading during off-peak hours (early morning or late night), use a different browser, and avoid downloading on exam day itself — always download and print well in advance.
📞 Whom to contact for issues
UPSC's facilitation counter can be reached at the helpline numbers listed on the official admit card download page, or via the grievance redressal link on upsc.gov.in. Keep your registration ID and a screenshot of the issue ready when you contact them.
