Why INICET Rank Prediction Is Harder Than NEET PG

· Smaller candidate pool = bigger rank swings. In NEET PG, 1 mark may shift your rank by 50–100. In INICET, the same 1 mark can shift your rank by 150–300 at the competitive end because fewer candidates means bunching at certain scores.
· No official answer key to verify. After the exam, you cannot calculate your exact score. Memory-based recall papers give approximations, but accuracy varies.
· MCC questions add uncertainty. Multi-correct questions have variable point outcomes. If you got some right and some wrong in MCC, you may not know your exact score.
· Paper difficulty varies. A session where the paper is 10% harder will shift the entire rank distribution. A score of 145 that gives rank 600 in an easy paper may give rank 350 in a harder paper.
