While preparing for UPSC CMS, I noticed most resources lacked a true test‑like experience, scattered questions across multiple sources, or provided unverified explanations. CMS Prep was built to address these gaps.
Every question has been individually checked against official UPSC CMS papers. Answer keys are verified against official UPSC answer keys and corrigenda. Explanations are concise, exam‑oriented, and referenced from standard medical textbooks.
CMS Prep is intended to remain accessible to every medical graduate preparing for UPSC CMS, regardless of financial background.

Built by an aspirant, for aspirants.
CMS Prep is a free, exam-focused UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) question bank built around authentic previous-year papers. The platform currently contains 1,440 questions from UPSC CMS examinations conducted between 2020 and 2025, organised to help aspirants practise efficiently and revise with confidence.
While preparing for UPSC CMS, I found that many resources had scattered questions, inconsistent answer keys, limited explanations, or lacked clear references to official sources.
CMS Prep was created to bring these resources together in one place and provide a more structured and focused preparation experience.
The goal is simple: help aspirants spend less time searching for material and more time learning from it.
CMS Prep is an ongoing project.
The question bank is periodically reviewed to identify formatting issues, incorrect classifications, missing questions, outdated explanations, and other inconsistencies that may affect the learning experience.
Feedback from users plays an important role in this process. Reported issues are reviewed and corrections are incorporated whenever necessary.
While every effort is made to maintain reliability, users are encouraged to refer to official UPSC notifications, answer keys, and standard textbooks whenever required.
CMS Prep is completely free to use.
There are no subscriptions, paywalls, or locked features.
The platform was built on the belief that quality preparation resources should be accessible to every medical graduate preparing for UPSC CMS, regardless of their circumstances.
CMS Prep was built by a fellow medical graduate and UPSC CMS aspirant who wanted a better way to practise previous-year questions.
What began as a personal study project gradually evolved into a platform intended to help other aspirants prepare in a more organised and efficient manner.
The project will continue to grow through user feedback, ongoing review, and future improvements.
